    Help register people to vote at a community event on Market Street. From October 6-8, the Market Street Protoyping Festival will take over Market Street from 7th to the Embarcadero with a collection of site-specific art installations designed to spark Civic Engagement and discussion about urban space.

    Skywatchers, Community Housing Partnership, Yerba Buena Center For the Arts, and Faithful Fools are teaming up to register our community to vote at the Swallowtail installation in front of Machine Coffee, next to the San Cristina Hotel.

    Help homeless clients access services at PHC’s annual event. Project Homeless Connect excels in connecting the most vulnerable San Franciscans to vital resources throughout the city. At our one-stop shop events and in PHC’s office every day, they link participants to difficult-to-obtain services including medical, dental and vision care, and employment assistance. By mobilizing city and community agencies, as well as thousands of volunteers, PHC is able to ensure that participants receive holistic care in a dignified setting.

     Serving a meal in the Daily Free Meals Program is a transformative experience. This program requires 85 volunteers each day to fill the breakfast, prep, lunch and dinner shifts, 364 days a year. With your help Glide can serve up to 2,400 meals per day to our community. Volunteers assist with everything from serving food, to bussing tables, to handing out silverware and condiments. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, and make some beautiful human connections!
