As part of the Streetopia festival, artist and choreographer Anne Bluenthenthal spent several months getting to know and interviewing residents of CHP’s Senator Residence, recording their conversations about homelessness and living in the Tenderloin. The artist then choreographed a performance installation using the stories of CHP’s formerly homeless residents. On June 10th, professional dancers performed Bluenthenthal’s piece in the Tenderloin National Forest, adjacent to CHP’s Senator Residence.
