After an intensive five-month search, we are thrilled to announce our new Chief Executive Officer, Rick Aubry, PhD will officially start as CEO of Community Housing Partnership on November 12.
“Community Housing Partnership is a remarkable organization on the front lines of the most challenging problem facing the Bay Area. I am eager to be of service to our residents, staff and the entire community working to lift up those we serve in the city we love” – Rick Aubry.
Rick brings a wealth of experience in the nonprofit housing sector, with more than 23 years of addressing homelessness, poverty, and economic inequality as the President/CEO of Rubicon Programs in Richmond, CA. In addition to his tenure at Rubicon, Rick also has experience in developing innovative models to treat individuals experiencing mental health disabilities here in San Francisco, and has consulted with numerous nonprofits to launch successful social enterprises as the Founder/CEO of New Foundry Ventures.
Rick will join Community Housing Partnership to build on the incredible accomplishments of our former CEO, Gail Gilman, and to continue to advance our mission and provide leadership in implementing long-lasting solutions to homelessness.
We want to thank our Interim CEO, Peter Lee, for his time serving our organization over the last five months, and you – our dedicated supporters – for your unwavering support and commitment to Community Housing Partnership’s mission. We look forward to introducing Rick to you – so stay tuned for information about meet-and-greet events happening in the coming months!
Under Rick’s leadership, and with your continued support, we look forward to continuing to transform lives and build a brighter future for San Francisco – together.
